well... I do admit that I pay attention alot more in world history >///< I try to make connections between my lessons and Hetalia. It makes it a little more interesting :D
Unfortunately, this year I only have American history -_- and as much as I love Arthur, america gets really boreing really fast

Same! The only thing in social studies that has made me think of hetalia is when the teacher said that Spain had control of Florida for around a half a century....

Beforte, only some part of History was interesting for me, and Geography was a little boring ... but when I discover that a Japanese had changed Nations in hotties, the thing is quite changed.
And now, I can laugh on a Geography book's page!

I've always found history interesting, we read about the renaissance in the sixth grade and I immediately started admiring Leonardo. He was awesome...

I find it funny how in my elementary history workbook they're talking about Germania, the Roman empire, the Ottoman empire, Egyptian and Greek mythology and what not.

Renaissance was and still is my favourite topic.

I can't wait to be able to read about Leonardo again. I still remember that one picture of the Ponte Vecchio in the history book. I mentally squealed when I found out that my english workbook has a segment about him.

Anyway... Hetalia has made the more dull parts of history interesting and the whole subject hilarious! :)

A few days after I got interested in Hetalia,I find it coincidental that we started talking in History class about World War II and the Axis Powers! XD
I think about each one whenever their names are mentioned.

Totally agreed. My only problem is that I can't keep a straight face when we start talking about history. (Like right now we're talking about the Revolutionary War and how it affected America's government. I can't keep a straight face to save my life anymore. XD)

You are right, it is inevitable keep a straight face XD, for me was a great help because before my history's exams I was always studying with their human names, were more easy to remember for me xD!

I bet that was a real grade booster! I can remember some of their names, but not all of them. :XD:
Speaking of History class, we were having a discussion. This is how that discussion started:
"England's a jerk!"
I laughed, thankfully it wasn't loud enough to make everyone wonder what was up with me. :XD: Poor England.....

Yeah. Well, it would only take you about two days. It's really short. Actually there's a book that sums it up pretty well in one of the chapters: "Canadian Top 10 Lists: The Opinionated, Irreverant, Ridiculous and Factual Best and Worst of Canada" by Dan de Figueiredo.
